In the UK, we are celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of the famous British writer, Charles Dickens, author of David Copperfield, A Tale of Two Cities, Oliver Twist, and many more books. Dickens, the greatest Victorian writer, was born in February 1812, and wrote about the hard life of the working classes and was interested in social reform. He created some wonderful characters!
In the library we have books by Dickens at Basic 2 level. -see if you can find any book which interests you!
